So, uh, as you can see on the title, I'm gonna tell you about the homecoming I told you through an earlier post. It doesn't even seemed like a homecoming at all. It's more just like a graduation. Maybe it is, but, whatever. Let me just tell you.
My performance--uh, our performance--was awesome! My dad said that I was doing great with the piano. He also said compared to others, I was the best. Nah, I don't think that's the truth. Because, you see, I mainly played guitar and piano was just my some kind of secondary instrument. I didn't formally learned piano--shortly I learned to play piano on my own. And it seems just impossible the one who mainly played guitar performing piano play better than the one who mainly played piano, right?
But other performances were also great awesome! I really wanted to post some pictures of it, but too bad I didn't took any pictures. Well, I took some, but most of them blurred. Others used their Single-lens reflex camera (SLR camera). I only got a digital camera, and it's not really great, so, uh, I considered to not taking pictures. Okay, let's just talk about the event. So, other performances. Most of the performances are bringing one or more song(s), I guess. I like it when it comes to band performances. I mean, band in suit was like other best thing boys could do, right?
There was one thing I, uh, pretty surprised about. My, uh, what should I call him... uh, former love ex-boyfriend ex-boyfriend would be fine. So, the ex-boyfriend stuff. He, uh, is a drummer, I guess. Well, he can't play guitar--the last time I knew he can't. But he performed with his guys, a song called 'Viva La Vida' by Coldplay, playing bass guitar. But, no offense, it's horrible. They lost the beat in the show--they don't even have it. The piano went too soon, the guitar went too late, the bass guitar lost, the vocals missed. Too bad he lost me--he'll regret it that he had let me go just like that.
Anyway, my girls, Adel and Tamia, won the place #1 and #2 of high score! Congratulations, you girls! Me? No, I didn't even got #10 place. Too bad. By the way, I'm still waiting hoping for my graduation present. My dad promise me an electric guitar--it's gonna be my very first baby--if I reached score at least 36. But, well, I reached 35.35, sadly. It was so close almost so close. I guess I'll never gonna have my baby. Well, then it's time for saving money. I might tag this resolution with FOR CHARITY, I guess. Nah, I'm not gonna tag it like that.
I guess that's all my saying. I wish I could post some pictures, but I don't even have it, so, what can I do? Oh, and by the way thanks for reading!
Sincerely,
Adinda.
