Well, yeah, it's been so long. It's like I've gone somewhere far, woods, perhaps? No, I'm not going anywhere. So, uh, okay, stop the chit-chat. I recently passed from the pain I got from National Examination. Well, it's been a long time. Like, maybe a month away. But the good news is, well, I guess I came up with no good news.
So, here's the thing. I enrolled to a high school. It's actually my favorite high school in town. It's one of those favorite high schools in town. I'm still waiting for the test result. Ooh, I'm so nervous! But this is just all about time. Which means the rest I can do is wait.
Another thing that had just made me so nervous is the performance I'll perform for homecoming. So me and my two friends, Laras and Tami, are going intend to do some performance. We had a plan that we'll perform two songs: 'Lucky' by Jason Mraz and 'Like We Used To' by A Rocket To The Moon. Tami will do the vocals, Laras will play violin, and I will play my guitar for the song 'Lucky' and then piano for the song 'Like We Used To. We planned this performance for long, like maybe one or two months away. We got so many changes about the song. First time we planned to bring out 'I For You' by The All-American Rejects--which is my favorite song from my favorite band. Then Tami told me she liked this song, 'Why' by Avril Lavigne. So we decided to perform both, at first. But I complained her about her song then she complained me about my song. So, none of them will performed. But one day, she came up and ask me for other song, 'Like We Used To' by A Rocket To The Moon--which is the one we're going to perform. This one's great, and I'll perform by playing piano--which is my first experience. Then Laras--who haven't appeared yet in me and Tami's performance discussion--wanted this song, 'Lucky' by Jason Mraz, to be performed. So then we are fixed to perform those two songs. Pretty complicated, huh?
The only thing I always avoid is choking in the middle of public performing. Especially for this homecoming. And, guess what? My date for homecoming was my dad. Hilarious? No, it's not even funny. But it's not lame either. Everyone came around with only a parent. So I'll come around with my dad instead of showing up with my mom. Well, somehow he's just better for me. Won't you wish us a luck on performing for homecoming?
Thank you for reading, anyway!
Sincerely yours,
Adinda.
